About Inspector Bill

After 30 years as an independent consultant in International Development, Inspector Bill followed his passions to become a certified Home Inspector, bringing his more than twenty years of experience and expertise in home construction, remodeling and maintenance to the service of both English and Spanish speaking homeowners. He has built and/or remodeled several homes, and is familiar with standards and techniques for framing. finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, etc.

Inspector Bill is trained and certified as a home inspector by ITA. In 2003 he joined the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI, #212836), is active in the local MAC-ASHI Chapter, and develops skill enhancement through annual training and development courses. He has passed the National Home Inspection Exam, the ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics Exam, and the NACHI Inspector Examination. All home inspections are conducted in accordance with ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

Inspector Bill conducts residential Radon sampling measurements using both continuous monitors and e-perm canisters, working with a local EPA Listed Primary Lab. He is also a Certified Water Sampler (#06-07-1812) by the MD Department of the Environment for collection of drinking water samples required under the Safe Drinking Water Act and State Regulations.

Inspector Bill’s business, Brooner Associates LLC, is located in North Bethesda, Maryland, and provides inspection services throughout central Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC.
